Cancellation and Refund Policy for Delicakes Marité

Thank you for choosing Delicakes Marité for your custom cakes and baking courses. We dedicate significant time and resources to prepare each order to your specifications and to organize our courses. Due to the nature of our services, we adhere to a strict cancellation and refund policy as outlined below:

1. Cancellations

  • Custom Cake Orders: Once an order is confirmed and we begin the preparation process, we are unable to accept cancellations. Preparation of your custom cake order begins immediately after your order has been confirmed and payment has been processed. We encourage you to review your order carefully before confirmation.
  • Baking Courses: For cancellations of enrollment in our baking courses, we require notice at least 7 days before the scheduled course date. Cancellations made prior to this period will not incur any charges. However, once we are within 7 days of the course date, we cannot accept cancellations.

2. Refunds

  • We do not offer refunds for any custom cake orders or baking course enrollments under any circumstances. This policy is due to the custom nature of our cakes, which are made to order for each customer, and the logistical and resource arrangements made for our baking courses.

3. Changes to Orders

  • If you need to make changes to your cake order, we request that you do so within 24 hours of placing the order. We will do our best to accommodate changes within reason and depending on the stage of preparation. However, we cannot guarantee that all changes can be made.

4. Exceptions

  • In exceptional cases where Delicakes Marité must cancel a baking course or is unable to fulfill a cake order due to unforeseen circumstances on our part, we will provide a credit for the full value of the order or enrollment, which can be used towards future purchases or course enrollments.

5. Customer Satisfaction

  • At Delicakes Marité, customer satisfaction is our priority. If there are any issues with your order, please contact us immediately. We will assess each situation on a case-by-case basis and strive to ensure your satisfaction within the constraints of our policies.

6. Policy Changes

  • Delicakes Marité reserves the right to modify this cancellation and refund policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
